Nyree Belleville and Michael Halaas met over 20 years ago in college and have a rich history of writing, recording and performing music together all over the world – sharing stages with artists such as Imogen Heap and Santana, and having their songs used in TV shows and movies. After two decades apart writing and releasing solo albums, they have reunited to continue their musical journey with the release of their first new album entitled, “The Love Song Project, Volume 1” as Echoes of April. Nyree is a New York Times bestselling novelist, and Michael has been a pianist and guitarist from an early age with a passion for any and all musical instruments and equipment. There’s nothing they love more than writing and recording music together, often from separate continents!
